Enjoy the sights and sounds of this truly magnificent city as you join the professional tour guides for entertaining anecdotes and historical information along with a sprinkling of bewitching ghost stories of the spirits that haunt our nations capitol.

On-board you’ll see some of the city’s most popular monuments such as the Capitol Building, the White House, the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument.

The tour makes three stops, the MLK Jr. Memorial/FDR Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial stop also serves the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial allowing you to see these sights in a different light.

Old Town Trolley Tours of Washington operates daily every 30 minutes from 9:00 am with last re-boarding at 5:00 pm. Old Town Trolley Tours does not operate on:
Annual March for Life (Jan 18,2019) | Annual Women’s March on Washington (Jan 19, 2019) Rolling Thunder (May 26, 2019) | Independence Day (July 4, 2019) | Army Ten Miler (Oct 13, 2019) | Marine Corps Marathon (Oct 27, 2019) | Thanksgiving Day (Nov 28, 2019) | Christmas Day (Dec 25, 2019).

Monuments by Moonlight Tour- Reservations are required. Reservation based tickets and unused tickets are non-refundable. You may reschedule up to 24 hours in advance of tour time by calling 202-832-9800 (option #4).
Old Town Trolley Tours – Reservations are NOT needed or accepted. Tickets can be used on any operating day within 12 months of the purchase date.

Parking:

Old Town Trolley Welcome Center Stop (10th & E St).- There are parking garages nearby, and Metro is two blocks away. (Gallery Place Station). Paid parking is also available at Union Station.

Age Requirements:

Child age: 4-12 years. Under 4 yrs free.

Notes:

It is highly recommended to bring bottled water along on the tour during the hot Summer months. Water can be purchased at Union Station prior to boarding for the tour. There are no opportunities during the tour to purchase water along the route.

This tour includes the Old Town Trolley Orange Downtown Loop along with the Red Loop Arlington Shuttle. Patrons with Tickets can board at any Old Town Trolley boarding location. Without an e-Ticket voucher or mobile ticket you must go to the ticket booth location (stop #1 or #4) with invoice order number.

Handicap-accessible vehicles available upon request. Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys.
