When the sun goes down, Washington turns into a different city, and Old Town Trolley Tours knows just the right way to show off the Capitol City at night! Enjoy the sights and sounds of this truly magnificent city as you join the professional tour guides for entertaining anecdotes and historical information along with a sprinkling of bewitching ghost stories of the spirits that haunt our nations capitol.
On-board you’ll see some of the city’s most popular monuments such as the Capitol Building, the White House, the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument.
The tour makes three stops, the MLK Jr. Memorial/FDR Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial stop also serves the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and the Korean War Veteran’s Memorial allowing you to see these sights in a different light.

Old Town Trolley Tour of Washington operates daily every 30 minutes from 9:00 am with last re-boarding at 5:00 pm. Shuttles offered between Stop #13 (Lincoln Memorial) and Arlington National Cemetery from 10:30am to 5:00pm (with last boarding at 5:00pm).
Arlington National Cemetery Tour Times:
October – March: 8:30am-4:00pm. Last tour departs at 4:00pm; April – September: 8:30am-6:00pm. Last tour departs at 6:00pm. To get the most out of the Arlington National Cemetery experience and to ride the Red Loop back into DC and continue on the Old Town Trolley route, please arrive at the Cemetery by 3:30pm. Currently, last Red Loop pickups at Arlington Cemetery will be 5:00pm. Red Loop shuttles will return guest directly to The Washington Welcome Center at the end of the day.
Arlington National Cemetery is open:
October-March: 8:00am – 5:00pm;
April -September: 8:00am -7:00pm.
The guard is changed every hour on the hour Oct 1 through Mar 31.
The guard is changed every half hour from April 1 through Sept 30.

Old Town Trolley Tour and Arlington National Cemetery Tours – Reservations are NOT needed or accepted. Tickets can be used on any operating day within 12 months of the purchase date. Potomac Riverboat Company-Water Taxi Reservations do not need to be confirmed in advance. Walk up reservations are accepted at the ticket booth based on availability.

Old Town Trolley Welcome Center Stop (10th & E St).- There are parking garages nearby, and Metro is two blocks away. (Gallery Place Station). Paid parking is also available at Union Station.

This tour includes the Old Town Trolley Orange Downtown Loop along with the Red Line Arlington Shuttle and the Blue Loop within Arlington Cemetery. Water Taxi roundtrip tickets are valid for 1 day use only and must be used within 2 days of Trolley Tour usage. Patrons with Tickets can board at any Old Town Trolley boarding location. Without an e-Ticket voucher or mobile ticket you must go to the ticket booth location (stop #1 or #4) with invoice order number.
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Stop
The guard is changed every hour on the hour from October 1 through March 31.
The guard is changed every half hour from April 1 through September 30.
Handicap-accessible vehicles are available upon request. Assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys.
