Enjoy a self-guided tour of the estate, which features beautiful gardens, heritage breed animals, a working blacksmith shop, and a stunning view of the Potomac River. Inside the Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center, see original objects, such as Washington’s famous dentures, and watch the American Revolution come to life in a 4-D theater where it snows every day.

Find out about Washington’s successful business enterprises at George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill (open April through October). The Distillery & Gristmill is located 3 miles/5km from the estate with free shuttle service available during open months.

Mansion closed for general maintenance Jan 28th-Feb 10, 2019. Hours: 9 am- 5 pm (April-October); 9 am-4 pm (November-March)
Distillery & Gristmill open April through October.
Free Admission on President Holidays-Feb. 18th & 22nd.
