Situated on a beautiful peninsula, Fell’s Point has century-old row houses, antique shops and music stores. The historic waterfront community is also home to eateries with German, Czech, Irish and Mexican influences.
Foodies and history buffs will enjoy one of Baltimore’s most iconic neighborhoods. Founded as a deep-water port, the town became a shipbuilding and commercial center. The dishes represent the groups that have settled in the community over the years. Fell’s Point is also renowned for its high concentration of pubs, bars and live entertainment venues. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the neighborhood has served as the backdrop for films and TV programs like the Food Network show Ace of Cakes.
On the guided Fell’s Point tour, you will see the small town that built many of the early frigates for the U.S. Navy, including the USS Constellation. Along the way, you will enjoy unique dishes prepared in several family-owned eateries. These specialty meals showcase the best of Fell’s Point’s renowned cuisine. The generous portions will leave little room for dinner. Our guests receive special seating and service at establishment visited during the tour. The price for these dishes is included in the cost of the ticket.
When the Fell’s Point Food Tour is finished, you will fully appreciate the history, food and cultural heritage that have made Fell’s Point a popular gathering place for hundreds of years. Make reservations to obtain the eTickets that you will need to embark upon this delectable culinary adventure.
